Robert Swanson went to the service in the army in 1974-1976. He
graduated from Fort Ord, California, and had the option to go to West
Point. His next post was at Fort Sill, Oklahoma surveying school. As he
graduated 1st in his class, he also was second in the post triathlon
game.
Robert learned dowsing first in the USA from a grounds keeper that was
looking for a broken water pipe. At the age of 12 he used a willow
branch to learn for the first time how to find and dowse water lines.
After Military Service Robert traveled to Philippines where he met some interesting people including government agent who told him about the Yamashita Treasure.
When in Philippines robert met people who new about other treasures and
hidden gold bars. There is a lot of wealth hidden on many islands in
Philippines that was placed in ground mostly during World War II. Some
owners of hidden gold bars and other valuables got killed and
information on locations were lost.After Military Service Robert traveled to Philippines where he met some interesting people including government agent who told him about the Yamashita Treasure.
During Robert stay in Philippines he met lot of people who were in business of hiding their or somebody ells wealth. There were also the gold bars of Marcos that got relocated from one location to another for use at later time.
During stay in Philippines Robert met American who came to Philippines to hide his gold bars and also the Wells Fargo notes. Robert got lot of experience with recovery and finding hidden treasure.
Recovery project in the mountains in Philippines allowed Robert find site that the American forces used during the World War II. When working on recovery of some other treasure at this site, the war in Iraq started in 2003. Some finds were very interesting and Robert needed additional funds for recovery. During that time he search remotely for bounty for no other but Saddam Husain. He knew how to dowse for missing people so he followed the war and dowsed for Saddam. His dowsing rods pointed to Tikrit South. Robert contacted the American Embassy in Philippines and sent the dowsing information to a embassy warden and it went to the State Department.
The details and the story was placed in a book: "The Miracle Of Dowsing: How This Dowser Found The Ace Of Spades Saddam (Paperback)" by Robert Swanson himself when he came from Philippines to USA in 2005.
Since writing his book about the art of dowsing and finding Saddam Hussain Robert found also interest in playing movie roles, type cast in some detective movies like Numbers, Hero's, CSI, NCIS, Bones, Passion, SIS, Finding Amanda, Journeymen.
At the end of 2009 Robert was awarded post at Professional Dowsing Services ( http://www.biznetmall.com/dowsing/ ) doing dowsing services for customers in USA and overseas.
